Privacy Policy

Waitlist Cards uses eBay account information only to provide its private, read-only purchasing, cash-flow, and inventory tools. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Information we process

When an eBay account owner authorizes the Waitlist Cards application, the application may retrieve information made available by eBay that is necessary for the requested tools, including:

• eBay account and authorization identifiers;
• active bids, maximum bid amounts when available, and auction end times;
• completed purchases and auction wins;
• listing, transaction, and order-line identifiers; and
• item prices, shipping charges, purchase dates, and related listing details.

The application does not request or store an eBay password or payment-card information. It does not place bids or complete purchases.

How information is used

Information is used only to help the authorized account owner review buying opportunities, calculate potential cash exposure, record finalized purchases, and maintain an inventory history.

Storage and disclosure

The current Waitlist Cards tool stores retrieved account data and authorization tokens locally on the authorized account owner’s computer. Waitlist Cards does not sell, rent, advertise with, or disclose this information to unrelated third parties. Information may be disclosed only when required by law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on the account owner’s computer until it is deleted by that owner. The account owner can stop future access by revoking the application’s authorization through eBay and can remove locally stored information by deleting the associated Waitlist Cards data and token files.

Security

Waitlist Cards uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect locally stored information and limits the application to read-only account access. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Website data

This privacy-policy page does not use analytics, advertising trackers, account registration, or marketing cookies.

eBay

eBay’s collection and use of information is governed by eBay’s own user privacy notice and terms. Waitlist Cards is an independent application and is not endorsed by or affiliated with eBay.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the Waitlist Cards tools or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision.
